The XLC System Pedal PD-S01 pedals are a one-sided click pedal that is compatible with Shimano SPD clipless systems. This means that you can benefit from both a flat and clipless pedal. The multi-coloured pedal has an aluminium shell and body for long-lasting strength. The PD-S01 is constructed with a CroMo axle and ball bearing. XLC have also included a mount to affix reflectors to so that you are seen at all times of the day. Pedal plates are also included and allow you to transform the pedal into a flat system. This will mean you can wear everyday footwear for riding without the need for specialist shoes. The XLC System Pedal PD-S01 is particularly useful for mountain bikers. Clip-in on one side and benefit from the more efficient pedalling and power transfer granted by a clipless pedal. Alternatively, rest on the flat side of the pedals when tackling steep or tricky terrain where you may prefer more movement.
