NB. The above prices are based on traditional bikes with external cable routing etc. As bikes and components have evolved labour costs will vary so we can be fair to consumers who need a little and charge accordingly where the bike or component has a higher degree of work required. A good example of this is in the replacement of headset bearings. Traditionally this would be able completed in less than 20 minutes and we would charge about £10 labour. With aero cockpit integration however we are starting to see more bikes with brake hoses and gear cables being routed through the headset bearings. This may mean what was a relatively quick job could now take a few hours due to the need to remove the cabling/hoses from the frame to enable us to change the bearings. Brakes would then need to have olives and barbs installed and to be bled. In this scenario our labour charges would be considerably greater. Similarly tubeless wheels with internal nipples will cost more to replace spokes or true due to the need to remove and re-install rim tape, tubeless sealant etc.
