The DSK AURA Optimist rudder are built in the DSK FOIL factory with cnc machines and designed in a 3D model.

The main characteristics of the DSK Aura Optimist rudder are:

• The Optimist rudder has really thin edges that gives the DSK Aura rudder it’s unique shape

• The front edge of the rudder has been bevelled just below the rudder gudgeon

• The cross section of the back edge bevel of the Aura rudder has a hydrodynamic curve instead of a ramp

• The leading edge of the DSK Optimist rudder is really smooth

• The hydrodynamic shape of the rudder blade is 90° to sea level
